Now let's move on to the next stage, which is how to install floor tiles for our garage that is good and right. For the first stage we have to do is prepare the tools and materials in advance, such as:
1. choose the ceramic with the size and motif that we like the most
2. Quality cement for gluing ceramics
3. Hand Grinding Machine
4. Ceramic cutting tools
5. The pen and the meter
The next step is to measure the floor area of the room and divide it into 2 equal parts, you can use thread or directly make a line on the floor, this line serves as a reference when the ceramic installation process begins.
Then the next step is to soak the ceramic to be installed, this aims to make the ceramic more elastic and easy to stick during the installation process. ceramics that have been soaked in water will not easily come off when installed on the floor of our house.
After that, don't forget to make ceramic adhesive, here we use pure cement which is thickened using water
So the last step is to install ceramics, in the process of installing ceramics, what needs to be considered is always starting from the center point and the front floor of our house so that the results are beautiful and neat.
Compact the ceramic evenly by making a tap on it, this is to ensure that there are no hollow or hollow ceramic parts that can result in the ceramic easily slipping off the floor.
After some of the ceramics are installed, don't forget to fill in the ceramic grout. Currently, there are many grout fillers available on the market, but we use a gray cement mixture here as the grout filler because it still matches the color and motif of the ceramics we use, so we can save money.
For the installation of the ceramic plinth, we can use a ceramic cutting tool or a hand grinding machine that requires uneven floor corners.
