Interesting! It runs OK in my M1 MacBook air with MacOS Ventura 13.1. It seems like it conflicts with some software in your machine. Unfortunately, I do not a solution to your issue.
i have the same problem, i can't say for sur if it's because I updated to Ventura since it been a while that I haven''t used octave, but it used to work fine
Hello everyone, I did the latest mac update today. octave still freezes (or the mouse pointer loads endlessly in the program). I have the following solution. 1. Download homebrew. 2. install the latest octave version via homebrew. 3. Start octave via the terminal. octave should now be usable from the terminal
