Kali Asahi is coming Soon. I read somewhere on GitHub. VMWare is heavy in terms of usage resources. But it's better compared to UTM. I used Both UTM and VMWare depending on the situation.

By default Kali Uses NAT and emulates macOS Internet connection.

make sure your Mac is connected to working internet connection: Then try running the below commands *sudo apt update* *sudo apt upgrade*

i have the same problem with the tutorial from a year ago

it's not a issue they didn't develop for macbook m1 i talked to the their guys they said you have to install from officials and installing process is also wired and different it’s totally gui installation

You can also choose to open in UTM. But the method that I shown is preferred.

@@kskroyaltech Thanks. I think what it also might give you is that iso file that can be reloaded into UTM if you trash your virtual before cloning.

Increase the CPU cores to 4 or more. And ram to 4GB or higher.

ISO file is raw and you the one need to configure the VM. Where as .UTM file is precustomised by UTM team.

Yes UTM is good now.

macOS uses full 8GB depending on the usage. But Kali is limited to Use Only 4GB . This happens dynamically.

VMware has all that corporate overload that requires you to register for the free license. UTM uses QEMU so there's much less grief.

hands down. VMWare for Pros. But UTM offers lot of pre customised images that is easy to install.

make sure your Mac is connected to WIFI and the UTM emulates the Connection and provides internet for VM.

there's no the burpsuite inside, and if even you'll instal it manually by terminal "sudo apt install burpsuite" and open it, it still doesn't work, i mean the browser doesn't work inside the firefox. How to fix it? I got this issue a long time ago and Kali developers didn't solve this issue yet... i can not connect my burpsuite with browser, when i click on a "Open browser" it gives me an error@@kskroyaltech
