Hi, if you are increasing the handle height too much, you might have to replace your break lines , clutch and throttle cable.

I've done the same on my ns 200. As per my experience, the handling gets better. You may feel little different initially for a day or two, but as u get used to it... I can say slight improvement in my handling

Yes, this handle is more upright than the stock one hence your riding position will be more comfortable
