ive been struggling to figure out why i couldn't get optifine to work with forge since it wouldn't show up in the mod folder, but its absolutely working and i have just been a bit silly!!! it's been working this whole time and i just never figured it out 😭 thank u so much for this video, its been so so helpful :)
FOR ANYONE WONDERING WHY TF OPTIFINE DOESN'T WORK WITH HIGHER FORGE VERSIONS AND MAKES THE GAME CRASH: it has been realised a new optifine version (OptiFine_1.19_HD_U_H9) , which is compatible with forge version 41.1.0, the latest one. So basically now u no longer need the 41.0.63 version, and u can enjoy the mods that need a higher forge version. I had your same issue, but this worked!! Hope this can help

I need help i have minecraft 1.20.1 with forge 47.3.5 and i want to download optifine for minecraft 1.20.1 but next to it means for forge Forge 47.2.18 and Forge 47.0.35 can i download it normal? because my forge is a new to the optifine verson or did i need forge 47.0.35?
i have asus tuf gaming with 4 gb graphics card(navida 3050) intalled. But when i play normally it starts working but when i insalled forge my CPU utilization is high but my GPU wod not work at that time. how to force gpu to work with optifine?

help me, because when I go into the launcher optifine does not show and it does not show in the shader packs folder I put it in the mods folder and a optifine installer popped up and all of the vids I'm going through does not show that. Is it not optifine? Does optifine have a new update? pls help
How can i use dynamic sound mod which works on Forge in combination with a shaderpack? which works on optifine! Both work! but separately i want them to work alongside each other! i dont know how!
Hello does anyone knows why when I launch the forge with the optifine installed the game immediately crashes? Idk I can run every single mod but If I launch with optifine the thing just crashes

Does anyone know how I can download specific versions of forge mods bc when I play with the forge version 41.0.63 I cant play with any forge mods bc it says it must be a higher version in order to play with these mods.
but how do i get the mods that get installed into forge to translate ? cause it only lets me open the mod folder through forge and then it wont let me use them with optifine

You have to make sure you're running for 41.0.63 because that's the version that optifine supports. In order to install an older version just go to the forge download page and open the 1.19 tab, then click "show all versions" and then look for and install forge 41.0.63. I tried this and it worked perfectly.
I'm not a computer wiz and know nothing about computers but how do I "hold start and press r", everything else was simple but that one thing just confused me
press the windows key along with the r key. the windows key is generally located on the left of the space-bar and looks exactly like the windows or the microsoft logo (a square divided in four equal squares). then just type "%appdata%" without the inverted commas and press okay. go to a folder named .minecraft and the rest is pretty much visible in the video
The amount of ram should be how well the game runs, the less you give it the less speed it will have, but the more you give it, the faster it will process things, in general reduces lag in single player, but might also make doing anything else on your computer while its open, slower
Dedicated ram ha. Never seen that video huh? More ram means better performance basically. To an extent. The other guy really should have explained better. Pretty sure he mentioned it in the video because…well…this video is about a mod and that’s what ram helps with. Quite simple. You shouldn’t have more than half of your ram dedicated to the game for your pcs sake. Base Minecraft is always 2 by default. You probably want 4 which means you need 8 total in your pc. Having 30+ mods like me with this much ram isn’t an option so you’d need a lot more. I’m running 12 dedicated out of 32.
