Why do you say it won't get deployed to the server with the -D? This makes sense for a regular FE application, but since you're probably going to deploy the entire theme folder, wouldn't you end up deploying all the dev dependencies anyways? You'd have to manually/selectively make sure to omit dev deps when deploying your drupal application. Correct?

Thanks for the video, my main criticism would be that you used vim in a tutorial aimed at beginners. Time stamping would also be great.

I agree, there was a lot of time wasted on teaching vim. I followed along entirely in vscode, which made it super easy to edit file and have multiple instances of bash running in the terminal. Would have liked to see some JS work done too.
