This is such a great video. So detailed and the camera is moved to get all the details. Quality. Question: was the bumper already a bit trimmed before the making of this video? Looks like the bit near the metal rivets is missing the flap. Edit: ah you go through that in your other vid ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oYae8bw3Eo8.html
People, putting a steel bullbar is the stupidest thing you can do to a car. Plastic bumpers are meant to sacrifice in order to protect the chassis. Imagine having a solid piece of steel instead of shock absorbers.. of-course the whole car will fall apart once it hits the pothole..same theory goes here
spoken like a true blind person. Modern steel bull bars are designed to crumple during an accident and absorb energy. They need to be strong enough to take an animal strike but fold in during an accident. So nothing like having a solid piece of steel instead of a shock absorber. Maybe do some research before making yourself look dumb
@@offroadanimal i have enough first hand experience to know what i am talking about.. many work vehicles been written off because of these stupid steel bull bars :) every crash the whole energy passed on to the chassis and bends the chassis and it will never be right again! If you wanna look “cool” aka wanker.. go ahead and spend money on these stupid stuff also not to mention the danger it posses it to poor pedestrians and cyclists u dumb man :)
@@OOOUZ Seriously have no idea how many saved from bull bars hitting wild life out here in Aus. But hey not everyone can see it. Keep your blinders on and let the grown ups talk
Agreed. Mainly for macho looks. Adds 24 kg weight. I replaced the steel cable of my warn winch with a synthetic cable, saved 15 kgs. Makes quite a difference. But hey, gotta admit the steel bar looks cool...i reckon a solid skid plate, diff plate, warn winch with synthetic strap is the way to go
Great video. Good advice on painting the exposed metal. "Cold Gal" paint is a great option. Great design for the bar too, much more character than other bars on the market, without looking "same as".
