Lorenzo also talks about his experience using the high idle, how he cleared his DPF when the check engine light came on, and we even show how to access a hidden menu to adjust the RPM setting.

Great info! I was looking for a security and starter system for the Sprinter and had no luck until I saw your video. I’m wondering can this system start an AC unit or start the exhaust fan as well when you remote start in order to cool down the van?

Great session! Wondering if the mid city high idle with drone has an automated feature like the boost system on the beast? Also, what are some things we’d need to watch out for after installing the system?

It does not unfortunately - I believe it's proprietary design and hardware that won't be released for those who do not have the Beast. The biggest thing that I'm aware of right now is to make sure that your DPF (Diesel Particle Filter) is relatively low when you start if possible. If not, you may get a check engine light on. But as discussed in the video, simply driving the van around will lower/resolve the DPF level.

Is there additional information on the hidden menu process somewhere? I got thru the first part but when I click on factory reset I didn't get the options for idle speed. Also, is 1500 the optimum idle speed, I hear Owl say something about getting to 1800 to prevent DEF filter clogging. Thanks for any additional input.

I'd say try it again a couple of more times - if that doesn't work I would suggest contacting Mid City and having them help you. As far as idle speed, I'm not 100% sure, but usually Owl is on their game w/ good information.
