hi,i have this model PC68GPFL for an equal fiat, and i have a problem that is camera somtimes appear image others not its stays on radio when i am in reverse.they talk on net about the red wire that comes with rca cable should be connected to pink cable. do you do that ' your camera always work ?
@@gl7492 yes the basic instalation is rca cable on cam than on radio and the reverse from cam to reverse light.You will see that the rca came along with a red wire on both ends.My problem is that my radio was installed the basic ,rca plug in both ends and the reverse from cam to reverse light 12v,but sometimes i put in reverse and no image just radio playing.,sometimes work others i do reset.The guy that installs say everything ok,but i search on net and mails with xtrons,and after 1 year , i discovered, that there are a purple cable that cames from canbus to conector, what i do is cut the purple near the canbus and connect the red wire that cames with rca to this cable and on other end of rca connect the same red wire to reverse also, this is for radio recognize the reverse. After doing this never had problems always working.Other problem, the guy that connects the radio not to iginition and when i remove car key the radio still playing i had to turn off on button, but radio in this case was consuming battery and i had to put another battery,i talk to another guy on the same place, the boss, and he told me that punto has no radio position and 12v must be connected to ignition as soon as i remove the key the radio goes off.the 2 problems were resolved with this,never had more battery issues or camera issues,inclusive during that year the radio was replaced by extrons and problem was the same
@@Maccessoires it's the quality of the amp and how large the capacitors are. This 50w x4 isn't as good as a equivalent pioneer Sony Kenwood alpine ..etc. My fiat OEM stereo produced a better sound. This is a deal breaker for me
