No problem. FYI u can buy the device and PROGRAM it yourself. It costs $600 at the moment. I didn't make sense for me being I was only LIKELY to have to use it ONCE.

Did you first disconnect the battery's negative?

Where were you able to get it from, I looked inside my pcm and it had a couple doodads that were loose and flying around

Ebay. I dont remember exactly who but as long as its OEM seller then your good.

Did replacing this solve your problem ? Did they have to special order this? MY dealer says that these are VIN# specific

Yes sir. I ordered this MYSELF. The dealer would have marked it up 3,4 x what I paid

I had to do THIS for an stx I had. Triton ENGINE I believe. So u can at least give it a TRY

I got the replacement in last night, about tobdo the installation now, but quick question. Did you disconnect the battery at all?
