Hi Matt, you can install them in a traditional sauna, however they wont work very well simultaneously. The carbon heaters are limited to 100c by a temp limiting overload on the back, and with the traditional heater running creating a humid air temp reaching close to 90c the heater will heat very quickly and switch on and off frequently. If you are looking to add infrared heat into a traditional sauna, I recommend using a Quartz Halogen 'Full Spectrum'.
