So charming Sai Krishna! How sweet Swamy in those days!! I just go back in my memory lane when I had first Darshan of Swamy at the entrance gate of Old Bungalow. The IAF training was almost completed at Jalahalli , I came out from the campus on one Sunday ,went to the White field. After enquiring about Sai Baba ashram, entered into ashram, looked for a water tap so that I could wash my feet , hand and face so that I can seek the Darshan, as a common practice people do before entering into the temple.There was a far off a water tap located at fencing wall of Old Bungalow, after refreshing myself, I started walking along the side of fencing wall, the moment I approached the gate... Swamy is coming out, an unexpected sudden surprise sight of Sai Baba in orange long robe, it was a sweet shock for me. Swamy is shining so beautifully in evening sunlight , I delighted stood still , don't know, what to do, then Swamy materialised a gold chain and thrown at one of 4 persons(elderly people), who were standing by, but as the chain was not caught in air travel, the chain fell down and glittering... this is my First Darshan of Swamy..! This events took place in all sudden succession and I was in utter shock n surprise....!!! There was fresh flowers (kanakambaralu) bed on floor, may be 6 or 7 feet wide beside fencing wall which was leading to the Banyan tree but Swamy did not take that route instead he entered into the ladies side. Meanwhile I came to the gents side and settled down on sands. There were hardly few people at gents side,. I was sitting in first line .. Swamy passed right in front of me and gave me a stern look -eye to eye contact, I couldn't look in to His eyes and put my head down. Then Swamy slowly reached to the elevated dias below the beautiful banyan tree, sat on His throne beside Krishna idol,. Bhajans followed by... It was in the month of feb 1979. Thanks to the Radiosai team for posting such a wonderful enchanting Darshan of Sai Krishna!.....SaiRam!
