I’ve installed two of these so far and must say that the flush and bowl rinse on these project source pro flush toilets from Lowe’s is way better and more effective than that of Kohler or American standard and for less money too. Of course I got a different toilet seat because the toilet seat that comes with these toilets is complete crap. I also love the styling of these toilets too. The flush handle that they use on these toilets make them look like old-school Mansfields a little bit. These are also way better than Glacier Bay HET’s.
I have had luck with the project source toilets in my rentals. I had a friend fixing something at my house recently and had a full box of the green gloves. He needed a few for what he was working on. They were gone when he left. Guess $10. Is a small price to pay for being helped out.
So i installed one of these, the version i purchased was labled no tools required. I put the tank to bowel bolts on as tight as i could by by hand. The tank still wiggles front to back. I have about a 1/4 inch gap between the tank and the wall. Is this ok.
I just replaced an awful Glacier Bay toilet that was short and had a round bowl with this toilet. The ergonomics are definitely improved, but even with the float adjusted all the way up, the flushing leaves much to be desired. The flapper appears to be raised much higher than previous toilets, and because of that a lot of the water in the tank stays in the tank after the flush. Is it possible to replace this new style of flapper assembly with an older style and regain some of the flush power?
Good job Sir. You are definitely a Professional I can tell you care about the job you do. The world needs more people like you that take pride in the work they do.
I had to take a crap half way through so I just went with just the bowl installed. Had to wear a clothes hanger rest of the install but made it. Too much Mexicano
