1. I connect to the caravan first 2. I have replaced the two "D" shackles with small padlocks (keyed alike) 3. I connect the cables and safety chains before attaching to the towbar mounting bar 4. I added the support pockets functionality (and use a piece of 25mm PVC pipe for extra support) - worth the extra cost
