The clunk is common on these. It’s due to the slip yoke in the rear driveshaft being inadequately greased from the factory. I add grease every 3k miles when I change the oil. Unfortunately if you don’t catch this early the splines will wear and you’ll need a new driveshaft to fix the problem. At least that’s what I’ve seen on the trx forums. I have 30k miles on mine now and still no clunk, glad I learned about this before I picked up the truck.
Yeah man hit me up on Instagram but these recons are pretty quiet I think the stock wheels were louder or at least to me. Very happy with the change and how they look!
I work for a labor union but I’m just a normal guy with a decent job and I got a deal on these tires and I bought the truck after making $ off my Jeep SRT and bought it out of state for 10k off msrp so it was a hell of a deal!
Man I get the need to make videos, and I say this with nothing but respect - but please get a phone mount if you absolutely have to record while driving. None of this RU-vid business is worth risking your life or endangering anyone else’s over. You’re setting an example for others right now.
