@@Trishal04 have a gypsy 2003 MG213W and booked a Jimny... coincidently 2 decades apart and skipped 3rd gen altogether, cause India... However, i have a question for all Gypsy and Jimny subject matter experts out there... whats the Codename for 5 Door Jimny launching in may...? The Kei Car version and in Australia, the 4th Gen is addressed as JB64W/74W as per wiki... but no mention of model name for 5 Door Jimny making it's debut with India...
@@Trishal04 Never driven a Thar offroad... though have driven lot of other 4WD... but for sheer simplicity and analog nature... Gypsy was my weapon of choice - easy top service repair and maintain on my own... have tried old school LC and Pajero in Australia, but then again those were purpose built bush vehicles meant for overlanding and staying offgrid for weeks at a stretch... Jimny will be perfect for such trips without breaking the bank... I dont know the travel content feels little superficial, folks miss the point that such trips needs to be economical i.e... cost of vehicle + fuel + toll etc... whats the point of staying in a fancy hotel when you have Roof top tent and such capable vehicle to take you off the beaten track near a water body... folks seriously need to re-align on the meaning of overlanding and vehicular adventure...
