Hey thanks for the video, you made that look easy. How did you locate the studs/rafters under the shingles. Also is there a video showing now it was wired from there to the delta pro?
You mention getting close to 1600 watts with this 2S2P array, but given the Delta Pro 15 amp limitation, it seems you'd only get around 925 watts? I ran the numbers from those specific panels.
This great work and is exactly what I'm looking to do for my Delta Pro setup. Too bad you're not in Virginia. Do you have a parts list of the IronRidge items you're using?
Yes, you can use a PVC box as well, however, the conduit should be metal (in the US at least). For metal box homedepot link: www.homedepot.com/p/Commercial-Electric-2-Gang-Metallic-Weatherproof-Box-with-3-1-2-in-Holes-Gray-WDB350G/300846204 And thanks for the feedback.
I have squirrels that run and cause damage on the roof in the warmer months. Do you know if this setup is relatively safe from squirrel potentially damaging the cables underneath the panels?
to protect wires you can install something like this: amzn.to/3Tk15Vb I did install it once, it takes a little bit of time to install, but worked well.
