I personally try to not drop anything down inside the door itself because it can rattle depending on what it is. Probably won’t rattle in the frame regardless I wouldn’t do that nor would I like seeing one of my employees do that. With that said good job on the install. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Drew, I am still doing this type of work but I’ve been moved into more of an administrative role recently. I never expected this video to get anymore than 10 views but perhaps if I find myself back on installation I’ll post some more videos. Maybe with some actual editing and voiceover lol. Nice video. That mickey mouse drill you were using at first wasn't gettin' the job done eh?! Maybe also try using some dedicated bits rather than the interchangeable bits on the 12 foot adaptor. Thanks for sharing the video! Gave me a nice trick with cutting into the bottom laterally to get a piece out so you can do the vertical cut ;)
You’re absolutely right. Thanks for noticing that. I’ll be changing the title to the correct model of 1500. I install 5000’s more often so I guess that came to me subconsciously.
This install was at a government facility where they still required masks even after Covid was on the let down. As you may notice I wasn’t wearing it “properly” at times lol
