I wish you could just be you do what you like and enjoy the world has become a little too uptight. Ive enjoyed all the content no matter what music or commentary comes with it keep it going🤘
Treat this video as if he was inviting you into his shop. Shut the f* up and listen to highly trained professional. Don't complain. You're here to get educated 4 FREE, not to complain about music. Whichever you do voice-overs or music, your loyal fans will still be here and support you regardless. Thank you for all your hard work and effort 💜
Agreed. However if a creator wants the content to be "family friendly" I believe it's a relative must to keep the profanity to a minimum. Personally I don't give a crap one way or another. I curse like a sailor and my language doesn't change when my own kids are around. I heard once that, paraphrasing, "people with no verbal filter are the most honest". This doesn't make me more profane but it certainly rings true in my personal circles... Keep making great content LT!
@@TheTopCat650 Right, but if I am going to sit down and watch something with my 2 year old and 5 year old around, I'm not going to watch channels that have vulgar language or lyrics. He can do whatever he wants, but if he consistently wants my views, he is best off leaving the vulgarity out. I'll still watch, just not when my boys are around, which means I may just not get around to watching his videos as often.
@@jaredshaffer3901 they are going to learn the words eventually, my kids are almost 12 and my daughter would throw tantrums and make God awful noises when she gets frustrated and finally we told her just to drop a f bomb when frustrated, it's so much better now and she can easily manage her frustration with 1 word rather than some hissy fit. It's called effective communication and curse words are a crucial part of conveying emotions.
Hey you do what you want. I will be watching regardless because I enjoy the content. The music did suprises me a little but I hear stuff like that at work all the time. Keep the awesome content coming.
Thanks LT, for supporting your viewers as they support you. Now enough about the music stuff.. I'm all about seeing what happens with that 4.8 supercharged. 500+ rwhp? Great job showing the install details as always! 👍
Love the great content. Thanks for the clean vids. I watch these with my two boys so it's nice to not worry about explicit lyrics. I like the voice over and the music. I think a mix of both is great. Either way, keep up the great work. I'll keep coming back.
I enjoy voice overs on top of some low-volume music. Sometimes there's some insight there that would otherwise be missed. I don't have kids, but I'm grateful that you're willing to make your channel family friendly. I learned a LOT of my car knowledge as a kid watching the shows on Saturdays on TV. It fueled my passion, and had those shows been full of profanity, I'd had never gotten to see them, and in turn wouldn't be daily driving my self-lifted, self-Dana-60-swapped Excursion. Fuel the future.
I want to thank you for all the videos you do because you respectfully explain everything and take you time and everything comes out better than expected and you’ve inspired me and probably more people keep up the great work 👍
Best content I have seen on youtube in a long time. Very humble and respectful. Me and my son sit and watch your content every night. Very informational. You are the reason Im not giving up on my truck. Being new to the truck community you and your knowledge help me out big time with my truck build. Deserve more subscribers. Keep gunnin foward.
Most respectful Creator ever. Guys grow up your kids are going to hear profanity and then when they grow up they'll probably use it. Thank you for your content. Dad of 1
I noticed the lyrics and just dismissed it, personally i didnt care for the lyrics but its youre channel, thank you for being a stand up guy and taking younger family listeners into consideration
Voice overs don't have to be continuous with much lower volume background music if you feel it's needed. As per my suggestion the other day, look what KSR Performance channel has transitioned to from the original free source music. I saw a bunch of places on this video where the voice over was perfectly suited for.
Thanks LT for the apology and the change. My son's do watch this with me to learn, they are 10 and 6, so I appreciate the clean show. You are doing great work, and we really enjoy the content. The music you have been doing in the past is fine. Prefer that over voice over. Keep up the great work!
I watched the original version and couldn’t help but think that for me the channel might be going the wrong direction. I didn’t feel as I needed to comment on the original video about it as the channel is yours to do with as you wish, but much respect for taking the steps you did to keep all your content clean. As a family of viewers we enjoy your content and I’m proud to have my kids drool over your builds as you inspire them to work hard and build their dream trucks!
Appreciate your willingness to listen to your fans. It’s your channel ultimately. I personally prefer how M539 Restoration formats his content. I simply turn the volume down when your music isn’t to my liking. One button down volume, another for up volume. It’s not taxing in the least. But again, it’s your show and I always look forward to seeing your next video.
I got a 2007 Chevy Silverado 4.8 and your giving me hope to put this on my truck ❤️❤️💯💯🤣 I always wanted to do something to my 4.8 cause no one out there has done something to a 4.8 and I always felt that someone will Doo and if that someone does Ima do it to and my man your starting it to do this Awsome project ❤️❤️
Since you asked. I enjoy the voice overs, tips and instructions which are shared on your videos. Likewise, I realize your videos include general material which dont necessarily need to be explained and at such time the music is reasonable to fill this dead space. However, I wish the tunes were more of a background sound rather than one which overshadows what's taking place in the video. Re: If the tunes are LOUDER than the die grinder, it probably needs to be decreased in volume. :) Keep up the good work :)
Background music is fine. Your approach of explaining things is good. Voiceover only when it's the best option on a rare occasion. I absolutely understand streamlining the editing is important. Afterall, this is RU-vid, not high budget network TV. Keep up the good work.
Well darn, I missed something yesterday! It wouldn’t have bothered me, I do watch with my 3 yr old but things happen and I wouldn’t have held it against ya and anyone else who’s been watching a while shouldn’t either.
I like the tunes! You usually explain so well before and after tasks. Maybe switch up the voiceovers with tunes for delicate technical tasks? Keep up the good work. Thanks.
I think you’ll be somewhere around 6-8 pounds of boost, probably make about 450-475 horse up from the 260ish that stock produced. Keep up the good work!
Don't get too down about it. We all have hiccups along the way and we're all still here brother. Do what is comfortable for you. Thats why we all subscribed and look forward to your next videos. By the way thanks for more than one video a week and the short updates.
Keep the music and have the voice over for things that may be a little more in depth. Don't stress about the music, and don't take the small stuff to heart. Thanks for continuing to teach.
I’m glad I didn’t see the first video you might of lost a subscriber ,I don’t like the cursing or any kind inappropriate content on any of the channels I just want to relax and watch and learn ,I love your simplicity of your installs and your explanation in detail ,it’ll definitely help me when I work on my 03 Silverado I put a gen 4 lc9 with ls3 cam and 243 heads new springs dynoed at 442 hp and 450 torque ,I wanted a super charger but I’m on a budget but now I have a lY6 thinking of what to do next lol does it ever end lol
You should nip a rubber hose for the fuel rail to slip over where there is on 1/8” clearance vibration will cut that line off the bracket vibrating it will slice into that soft rail
I hope you replaced the knock sensors while the intake is off. Instead of cutting on the adapters I would of changed the steampipes to a custom flex kit.
It's sad that you have to "tip-toe" around and thru your own videos so you don't "offend" some candy asses but? it's the way of the world now a days. Personally? I like the voice over / back ground music mix. Explain the details and rock on thru the rest. Keep up the great videos LT and I'll keep watching!
I love your videos do them however you feel is best. I have a 2006 Silverado LS 2wd short bed-std cab with the z82 tow package that has a 5.3 and a 3.73 posi. I have always wanted to do a supercharger and maybe a 6.0. I have the same ideas as you do about factory parts. I added 20” Tahoe rims, a deeper chin spoiler from z71 and the driving lights. I’m currently running the flow master two out the side exhaust. Maybe I’ll get you to do some upgrades when you get your new shop.
Thanks LT on being the better man by Apologizing for a Slight mistake I music 🎶 that had some language in Lyrics that wasn't real cool 😎. I think your real cool buy apologizing good job sir good 👍 job keep up good work and I'll keep on viewing your Chanel every chance I get. Going now thanks Ray in Idaho
so I noticed it looks like you used a petroleum based oil to lubricate the injector O rings. some O ring materials may be ok with that but I know conventional fuel rated O rings can degrade over time when covered in petroleum based oils. I use silicone based dielectric grease. the silicone doesn't degrade the rubber over time like petroleum based products and you may not see an issue depending on the O ring material but if you do it will be a long term effect like say a couple years down the road or atleast that's what I've been taught.
I believe voice over would be useful for complex and difficult to film sections, but utilizing background music keeps a beat to the video and makes it enjoyable.
Hey LT, here is my take; Keep mixing it up. I like when you do a voice over when appropriate but I also like the music (rock and alt) when it is obvious what you are working. There is a time and place for both. Just my two cents...
Good lord people are sensitive! Your channel is awesome man we love seeing anything you post. Personally your format is just fine but don't be afraid too experiment!
I'd leave out the music, commercial TV thinks we're not going to be able to focus if you do not have something to keep viewers engaged (dopamine-driven feedback loop). I'm watching a truck build, If I wanted to see a go-cart race (reality TV shows death roll) or listen to music I could. Wouldn't it be awesome if you were in a concert & they switched to a go-cart band member race, vehicle, or a home improvement build ? I'd be ok with the build. It would be heavy metal if some band would mid concert restore a 1960's muscle car just to keep everyone engaged.
I respect you for apologizing, but you don't need. You doing so is keeping them around. I personally don't think it was a big deal(didn't even notice 😀)....7UP commercial: Make 7...up yours. Some hot sauce commercial saying, "I put that s***(bleep out, but known) on everything. I could go on and on. My point is, people have gone soft. Just explain to your kids that it is a profane word and that they are not aloud to say it...the end
Dude you are so authentic by doing this, I loved the music, but props to you my guy! You are such an honest person and willing to take every step to make things right!
I really like the voiceovers that you do. I really like the in-depth explanations of what you are doing while you are doing it. I would much rather have a voiceover than the generic music honestly. I really like when you go into all of the technical details of what you were doing. I watch your show to learn, not just for entertainment. Keep up the good work!
Love the videos. You're a stand up dude. I'll keep watching no matter what music you have. I kinda got to liking the twingy music you were finding. Hell it's upbeat
Great video. Again. Definitely like a mix of no music, music, and voice overs. I can’t believe the amount of work you get done on this one man show. Respect dude.
I say do whatever is easier for you. I think I can speak for everyone when I say if you don't like something then you don't have to watch it plain and simple.
I personally like the voice overs the best. But if you're just going to play music, play it at like 60-75% of the volume of the rest of the audio. Music in the background is fine, but it should be just that--background.
Thank you for caring for your viewers and their kids!! The format you have been doing is great. No need for voice over, your work and how you 'talk' with your hands and visual aid during fab is perfect!!
You are a total stand up guy. Great explanation, and normally the music is fine. I was more worried about you getting in trouble, than the actual music itself. Keep it up in giving us awesome content
The music for background is nice, but I also like the voice overs. The VO can help shorten a long video so it does have its place. I think the best place is a balance between the two. Still like the vids!
I personally prefer voice overs. If your going to play music I would prefer it be a little quieter then your voice sections. I also don’t mind no music at all. Whatever you chose I will keep watching, been watching you since your Powerblock days!
Honestly, keep doing what you’re doing. I actually watching your videos. I’m learning a lot from your channel outside of what you did on Truck Tech. I look forward to working with you on a couple of my projects.
