This message isn't in reference to this video. Jeff, you've responded to some compliments/comments about something I heard or saw in your video(s). Well I've got sort of a different 1 for you. There's a guy that works for A J's Concrete Pumping who had some good things to say about you & congratulated you on your latest high level of RU-vid subscribers. He also thanked you for being the person who got him interested in becoming a concrete pumper himself. You & him both speak from a position of experience, it's easy to tell when you guys are talking in the videos while you're working. Congratulations on your latest highest level of subscribers. Always great content & keep up the great work!!!!!
Over here in Dublin IRELAND the weather has been Bad for this time of year we are still wearing Hoodies and jackets and it's almost the middle of June hopefully the weather gets better soon because I'm sick of all this wet and cold weather and I need to start working on getting a Tan because it's been a long winter and I'm as white as a Ghost 👻👻
I'm looking forward to Bill's reaction. I love having the air cuff. On one of the booms I installed one on, I had to run air line down the boom. Looked and worked ok in the end.
@MuddyfeetConcretePumping I ran rubber. On the 1st 3 sections I zapped to the hydraulic lines. On the 4th I used the pipe brackets and made it as straight as possible.
Nothing runs like a deere! reguardless if the concrete mixer is ugly or has smiley faces, they all are simple machines and all have an Archimedes Screw!
@@chebarden8278 What year is your schwing? We just got a couple 2017s that didn't come with air cuffs but if you have the air cuff switch on your remote schwing will send you a tablet to turn it on. Then you just have to find a few wires that aren't plugged into each other and connect them for the remote to work.
I would not run it off a timer with the pump switch because certain mixes will plug pretty fast with an aircuff because the water will run thru the air cuff. It's not much of an issue but you have to be able to turn off the air cuff and shake the hose. Depending on what you have for spare switches on your remote we've gone thru the engine shutoff switch or run it with the horn switch. I don't know exactly how you wired this but I use stepping relays and go off the battery that way when you have to move the truck and take it out of pto the air cuff will stay on.
That's a brilliant idea wiring it off the battery like you did!!! I've never liked that the cuff automatically deflates when the truck is switched out of PTO or the engine kill is inadvertently bumped (don't ask me how I learned this) 🤣🤣🤣
that second to last elbow on the tip section caught my eye. HD 130 bar? is the boom system on that truck HD or metric ends? if metric, how are you getting that elbow to work on there?
Hey Jeff love your videos! I got a question if u don't mind. I just recently started a small line pumping buisness I run a little reinert p530. We had 200' of hose out on a job 150' of 2.5" then reduced down to 2". The machine was pushing a little over 100 bar. Is that a safe pressure range for that situation because I blew a hydrolic hose coming from my accumulater. Do you think maby it was just a worn out hose? Thanks for any answers you could give.
We sold the 40m March of 2023. At the moment we haven’t decided when we will replace it. Still watching what our economy is doing. We hope to have a new pump in here this next spring but it might be to replace this 38m and just stick with one boom pump.
