The kit I’m installing is a complete hydraulic conversion available at www.cronetec.com they also make several other parts for the blaster.
This is probably one of the mods that should be top of the list for anybody riding a 1988-2002 1st gen blaster with the mechanical rear caliper setup. The hydraulic brake is a huge upgrade and makes the blaster safer and more rideable in the trails.
Link the the exact kit I installed below 👍

What about that brake line at the end of the video? Sticking out so far and the line touching the spring?

I still had lines loose, extra line goes forward and with the banjo bolts on it’s plenty clear of the frame. The oem line on any quad with hydraulic brakes will have some extra slack looped forward so suspension movement isn’t a issue.

Does it have to be welded on?

Will the Gen 2 lever/foot peg work?

Yes just have to cut the pedal post off of it.

Did yours work after adding fluid and bleeding them? I've bled mine multiple times and they still don't work no air in the system it's like the caliper maxes out before closing on the disc
