Check the start stop battery because on my 2020 jeep gladiator rubicon the little battery that runs the start stop feature was busted and had leaked out the battery fluid and was draining the main battery to compensate. I removed the start stop battery and just hooked up the red battery cable to the main battery and problem solved.
I just bought a NOCO Genius2D Be here tomorrow / I have the Same Dashcam VIOFO A129 you still have to have the direct VIOFO Dash Cam with HK3 Hardwire Kit
I thought about that but the instruction manual said to put it on the terminal. Connecting to the Battery. Do not connect the AC power plug until all other connections are made. Identify the correct polarity of the battery terminals on the battery. Do not make any connections to the carburetor, fuel lines, or thin, sheet metal parts. The below instructions are for a negative ground system (most common). If your vehicle is a positive ground system (very uncommon), follow the below instructions in reverse order. 1.) Connect the positive (red) eyelet terminal connector to the positive (POS,P,+) battery terminal. 2.) Connect the negative (black) eyelet terminal connector to the negative (NEG,N,-) battery terminal. 3.) Connect the battery charger’s AC power plug into a suitable electrical outlet.
@@hawkzillakl9555 probably because people put it on thin painted sheet metal and why they mention thin. It's a lot better if you let the car know it's charging by grounding on the chassis so the current goes through that shunt on your negative terminal. Or to the right of the shunt if there's another bolt at least. Body side not battery side and the car will see the current.
Do you think I could use a battery pack to plug into instead of a outlet? Has anyone tried this? I have a Halo Bolt Battery Pack I can plug into :) Well the Halo Bolt just didn't enough juice to charge /run the maintainer just take the battery out and hook it up inside the apartment.
