Great idea! How has it held up for 7 months? I'm wondering if you might consider putting some sort of filter in front of the fans to help keep them clean? Even a piece of window screen would help slow down how fast the fans get dirty. Plus, do you need to run both? Maybe just run one and keep the other as an installed spare.. or maybe alternate which one you use to make them both last longer?
@@ShannanPanganiban Awesomeness! That is good to hear. May I put in a preemptive request for a 1 year review video of the pros and cons? Thanks again for sharing/testing this ventilation system. 😎 STOC
Great video! I need a fan for my girls in the Carolinas but wondering about solar vs. wired. They are out and about all day but when they go in at night it's toasty. It usually cools down in a few hours. If the solar fan stops at sunset, does it actually give a cooling advantage when they go to roost at night?
we are in florida so obviously very hot! we have seen it help a ton when we keep them in for the day, but honestly at night we do feel like it cools enough for them
you could definitely do that too. its completely quiet and it has definitely been helping. we barely have a smell or any bugs so i know it's helping there for sure.
