Installing a Honeywell T2 Non-Programmable Thermostat 

Hello Kevin, there is no reset button for this thermostat since it is ran by 2 ‘AA’ batteries. I would check your batteries and reinstall those and possibly uninstall and reinstall the unit, making sure your wires are going to the correct letter for your setup. The colored wires may represent something different for your setup. If you have the old thermostat you can refer back to it to see what the previous setup was before you changed it. Since the room temp is not moving on the thermostat when the A/C is on, there is a connection issue or set up issue (You can check your settings - press and hold the ‘Menu’ button for 5 seconds. You will need the guide to review each setting and to make sure they are correct for your home’s A/C unit.) Yes, the tabs on either side of the thermostat needs to be pushed down and then you can insert the correct colored wire. The wires will lock in place so the tabs will not pop back up completely. They are easy to see, straight forward install.

Hello Norman, for this thermostat, since you have a 2 R-wire set up, you would need to set the R-switch to 2 wires by pushing down on the tab on the UWP mounting system. Then you can insert your RC wire into the Rc-terminal and the Rh wire into the R-terminal. There is no jumper needed for this thermostat. This issue sounds like a blower problem. If you changed your thermostat to a new one, make sure your settings are correct for your system. If issue is not resolved, you will need to have someone check for various other issues that cause the blower to stay on. Google: ac blower fan won't turn off for other possible issues or see if you can find helpful videos on RU-vid here. You can always turn the blower off from the breaker box until you fix it when you don’t need the A/C to save on costs. The A/C will work as it should even if the blower is constantly staying on so turn off the blower from the breaker box to stop that when you don’t need A/C to turn everything off.
