Installing a keyless keypad entry deadbolt 

In this video I show you how to install a keyless type keypad entry deadbolt. This particular model is a Kwikset model which includes an option to use your current house key for this particular lock. I show how to install the keypad and route the wire through the door and then install the mounting plate and the battery pack so that the interior switch unit can then attach to the external keypad. While installing this, I show that the different type of screws and bolts that are used to fasten the system are very secure. The lock system includes a specific key which allows the outside optional keyed entrance to be key to a current house key therefore reducing the amount of keys on your key ring. Installation is quick and easy!
