I dont know if i could weld the two plates together if they were not 100% flat. seems like it doesnt gain anything to me. now the weld is preventing the two plates from touching. might have been better to bolt the two together flat before welding or replace the damaged hitch plate.
So now is the bed going to hit the pintle hook when it dumps and usually a pintle hook that has a ball combination is not a heavy duty pintle hook. He should of bought the hitch with the plate to mount the pintle hook on and slide it into the existing 2" receiver.
We were putting our HF arc injectors through the harshest testing that we could think of and we syill had some faiures. Instead of buying certain parts from China we are working with a small electrical firm here that is willing to tool up and make a run of the high frequency high voltage parts . My goal is to make the best product at the most reasonable cost. Maybe we can increase the warranty because the damage we had to do to the units I do not think anyone would put them through in normal use or even harsh use. I will stay in touch.
