Awesome video. What is the move on roof rack with a moonroof? I can't decide if I like the 3/4, or if removing the crossbar(s) over the moonroof with a full sized rack is a good idea/will look ok, or just deal with seeing some rails above. Almost makes me lean towards finding an oem Pro rack but I do want the functionality of these much higher quality racks. The silver rails are killing me though so need to decide soon!
I love how meticulous Corey is with all the intallations. I know a few shops who wouldn't even think of putting loctite on the threads. Corey, you're super talented and I enjoy watching the transformations. Kinda like pimp my ride but not so over the top.
6:27 be super careful not to push the female plastic nut covers down into the car/headliner starting here..... highest risk part of the process is 7:13 and installing bolts.... you'll regret losing it...
In your video a year ago for the Sherpa there was no cutting of the rubber where the front foot sits. Why does Sherpa not cut down to the roof whereas Prinsu does? Can the Prinsu front feet sit directly on the rubber as well vs cutting or has Sherpa changed their installtion since your video to also cut? I'm still on the fence between the Sherpa and Prinsu myself. I like the large rubber blocks on the Sherpa to keep dirt and crap out of the opening where the feet sit but I also don't like the fact they don't sit on the roof in front as that rubber in the channel can get compressed after a while. Anyone with thoughts?
