A suggestion, take it or leave it.... Since you are switching your hair out so often, use black wrap strips underneath your caps to actually protect your hair. The glue will adhere to the paper making the removal process easier and less messier. One to two layers. Use dots of hair glue to hold the strips in place as you put them on the head and cover with the cap. Use the glu to make an outline where you plan to cut the cap and dry for 5 minutes on cool. Proceed with install. This should take time off the install and the removal.
@@IAmAliyyahF no problem, you are welcome. You can also make quick weave wigs like that....don't cut the band off the stocking, use only one stocking cap, and maybe do an additional layer of wrap straps. You can do this method on a mesh dome cap as well yet you have to be trill about disguising that thick band. If making on a mannequin head use a plastic shower cap underneath so it doesn't stick to the head.
Look up what Petroleum jelly is. It really shouldn't go on your scalp unless you are using it as a barrier to getting relaxer burns. Other oils have benefits for the scalp and nuture it which petrolium doesnt do. Its reat for the ends of your hair to lock in moisture in very small amounts.
Ima stand by my blue magic hair grease and Vaseline on my face 😂😂 I have no ache discoloration or anything and due to scalp psoriasis that flares up depending on the season and what I eat, blue magic help better than any oil I’ve ever used. My hair use to come out in chunks when my scalp would start peeling. Haven’t had a bad flare up in a couple years since I’ve ditched everything else and started using blue magic .
Yes!! Back when I used to wear quick weaves, HOW DID WE END UP RIGHT HERE bc I used to ALWAYS measure them out and STILL be short when I was ready to glue the corner 😭😭🤣🤣
Petroleum is an occlusive so its good for sealing the hair. It can clog pores if used on the scalp directly. But everyone is different so it may not be an issue for some
@@jasminebrown8651 the fact that it sits on the skin blocking the pores can lead to irritation for people who have inflammatory skin conditions like dermatitis and psoriasis sitting on the skin can prevent "good" ingredients from penetrating the scalp. For instance imagine applying oil to your skin then applying a water based product. It wont be absorbed. So its the same for the same scalp. So if you have a relatively healthy scalp, apply water based products then apply petrols then it can be useful
I just don’t like the sticky lingering feeling of grease. I don’t particularly like the feel of oils or butters either but they tend to rub in better and wash off easier.
@@Ok_Sorbet-824 i agree and thats because most greases contain lanolin which is the sticky wax byproduct of sheep's wool. So when i formulate "grease" i dont use animal by products or artifical oils. Just plant based oils and a wax
I’d just switch between wigs for the most part since your hair would be ima protective style and if u gotta do extensions or sew ins then idk what to say on that cuz even I can’t switch my hair every 2 days you slay ya styles tho
