Ryan Barden yes it’s worth it. Here is a few tips so you don’t have to do it twice (like me) : make sure whatever fabric you use is foam backed so the glue doesn’t bleed . Make sure it’s uv protected, the fake suede (I recommend real suede) I tried at first turned purple on the pillars from the sun. And use the highest strength 3m spray adhesive. I tried to cheap out and got the gorilla glue which started to lift on the pillars from the heat . Get a fabric roller . And finally wait a day or two before reinstalling to let the glue cure.
I have installed one on my BMW e46 and I have to say, it is the most amazing experience I have ever had, it really is worth it, and I urge everyone to get one!! The only trouble I had was installing it at home , because the ring that you must clip on from the bottom was extremely hard to do alone and if you dont have the proper tools it will be extremely difficult to clip it on , so I had to take it to a garage to place the bottom ring/clip on it,
