Installing a Stronger Bumper on a RV for Pulling 

and I have a weight distribution hitch also

Oh man! Yeah, way better than the old one! I was nervous with the KLR back there with the old bumper... now I feel so much better about it. haha

Awesome! Nothing like getting to camp and your bike is MIA :( Also I am trying a new app called Back Country Navigator. You can down load the map for off line use. Also it lets you export it as a GPX file. I'm going to try something like you did on map rock road.

Oh man! I couldn't imagine walking behind my camper and finding the entire trailer is not there anymore haha... that would be a sinking sick feeling wouldn't it? If that navigator program tracks your movement in a GPX file like this old garmin I have does then you'll be able to export that "track" and overlay it on your gopro footage using Virb Edit... I should make a how to video on how exactly I do that.

+LowlySteward so I have the verb software and laid my gpx file on the go pro video. I have it all synchronize but I noticed that sometime the speed doesn't line up. I wonder if that because it shows me like 40 foot off the trail. like gps skewed?

+Piston Slap Yeah, I haven't seen anyone get it exactly perfect either. It shows me doing 3mph when I'm stopped etc... It shouldn't be too far off but I haven't seen it perfect.

That doesn't really make any sense that it has to be a fifth wheel + bumper pull rather than bumper + bumper.. in Idaho we can triple tow bumper+bumper+bumper so I could legally pull something behind that trailer like a boat or something if I wanted to... it's crazy! I've only seen one person ever do it and he was pulling like a 26' camper, and then a flatbed trailer with 4 quads on it and a fishing boat behind that haha

I used to pull a 5x8 trailer with a 550lb motorcycle on it. It did great!

I actually don't have that trailer any more but that whole setup held up great. I never towed over 1500 lbs with it. That trailer frame was only 2x4 but if you've got I-Beam or a bigger trailer frame I would feel safe towing up to 3k.

I probably wouldn't put more than 500lbs on it.

Thank you! I just used a Sanding Flap Disc Grinding Wheel to sand everything down and then painted it with some Krylon ColorMaster Paint + Primer. It's still looking good almost a year later after being out in a pretty harsh winter so it's holding up good.
