Great video and interesting to see people’s experiences fitting the exhaust. The QR label should be on the packet, sadly yours wasn’t but like your initiative getting the qr code from another video 👍 yes you should have two 40mm spacers. The sound, that’s your mudflap, it’s vibrating off it, lift it up and notice it will be a lot quieter. Enjoy 👍 Note to self, answer email, remember qr sticker and pack correct spacer.
Thank you for your acknowledgment Adam, as they say feedback is the breakfast of champions ! Yes, I need a shark tooth from you, but as a temporary measure I have trimmed my mudflap down a little, sounds much nicer now. Just ridden the coast to coast with it, all good ! Love the look and now the sound too !
Thanks for saying bout getting hold of them is a nightmare, I'm giving them a wide birth nothing worse than service like that...just ordered scorpion instead.
Another great video fella. I spoke to Adam re a 180 kit fir mine and it works out about £900-1000 which should give you the power you might be looking for. I agree the 300cc are out of budget not to mention the hassle of upgrading your licence. I would imagine 95% of 125cc scoots with bigger kits on are still registered as 125cc. ( honestly officer its factory standard) 😇😜 stay safe bud
I love the way it looks and sounds. Nobody ever gives enough credit to the weight savings of a nicer exhaust. I put some old aluminum Cobra mufflers on my little Ninja 250 and probably shaved off close to 15 pounds (I never did weigh anything to get a hard figure), which, on a bike like that, makes a big difference. Stainless parts are also always so much more pleasant to have. I like your videos a lot. I think you're definitely convincing me I should try to get ahold of a Royal Alloy when I can afford to.
When you fit the variator don't bother changing the clutch spring You only change the spring if the clutch slips That'll never happen the engine won't make the power to do this Great video as per usual Regards
a friend put my tasso red on he had done his own and was an engineer. he used both those spacers the long and short, and the bracket with the rubber from the stand he angled slightly so the stand would hit the rubber when put back up. i also had to go to royal alloy guys video for the code to the pics, the one that was on my packaging didnt go to the pics..and yes getting a response from adam is a nightmare and he would do himself a big favour if he answered emails and calls or got someone to help maybe part time..
I'm a total novice be always on the mod scene bought a royal alloy fair play your doing a good job and I'm getting right back into ocean colour scheme top man 👍
🤣🤣🤣 I didn't. I borrowed it for use as an overall ! Thanks for watching. 👍🏻 ps, you should consider starting yer own you tube channel, advising middle aged gentlemen on mid life fashion. 😉🤣
Enjoyed the video👍 you won't get that spring on by hand.... The trick is to grip it with a pointy nose pliers pull it hard put a coin between the gap when it opens a bit then pull it again and put another coin in another gap when you have got close to the hole give it a good pull and you should get it. The problem with not using the spring is if that one bolt loosens the pipe end will fall off. That's why race bikes have to have springs on their exhausts... I hope you used treadlock 😎👍
Grate video mate watched a couple now. And the scooter is looking amazing and sound like a beast love it. You're definitely making it easier to consider investing in a Royal Alloy GT 125
Got the Tasso 322 race on mine with the works kit & it doesn't actually sound any louder than that tbh...takes some getting used to as you say but the hooligan in me is liking it now lol 😈
Good vid m8 .my mates tasso failed after 2 months, weld round the can blew .got it sorted then down pipe split at weld so sent exhaust back and back to stock exhaust. My other m8 fitted tasso on his gp 125 last month but made scoot slower so he put original back on .
Hi, enjoyed the video, how long did your exhaust take to arrive from ordering, I ordered one 10 days ago but all tracking says is packing despite trying to contact tasso by several different means had no reply.
That noise from the Tasso it’s because the exhaust fumes are hitting the mud flap . You will have to get a narrow one or a small one which sits higher.. you will notice the difference straight away.. I’ve done it on mine and it’s fine hope this helps you fella … safe riding 👍👍👍🛵🛵
Top video...thanks. Tho, it sounds a bit like a tractor 🙂....I have just got myself a RA TG300 and want a replacement exhaust but don't think I will change to a Tasso. Great job tho...
Had a Scorpion fitted to my Royal Alloy gp 125 ac, Added nothing to the top speed but it certainly add something power wise, maintaining speed up hill no problem.
Hi Jason, have you tried resetting the ecu, disconnect your battery for a while, the ecu will "learn" the new air / exhaust fuel ratio. Might work. I did a video on this previously. Thanks for watching. 👍🏻🛵
Sadly not Andy, I missed that one last year too! Next weekend, sixteen of us from the B.A.D.S.H.I.T Scooter Collective are riding coast to coast, Cumbria to Robin Hoods Bay !! I'll make sure i'm on that St George parade next year ! Enjoy. Thanks for watching.🛵
All I can say is I love mine, and have no regrets. Good machines if they are well maintained and you don't mess around with em too much ! thanks for watching !
Used to buy 600 & 750 cc sake rockets and dump money into headers, jet kits, timing advancers, K&N filters, eventually realized smaller bikes never going to be a full liter 1000cc bikes but still end up having 1000cc money into them. Moral of the story buy 1000cc motorcycles and 300cc scooter straight away and have OE reliable, quiet power.
@@RoyalAlloyRider Only half right on the scooters, probably the same as with your Royal Alloy, the smaller Vespas (150cc) handle most all of city driving well, they are more twitchy maneuverable and a bit more fun than the bigger GTS 300cc scooters but for riding double, up hills and a bit of highways the 300s shine.
Saw your scoot at Scarborough tried looking out for you but didn't manage to see you, if you do the remap and air filter then it will have more torque 😎🛵
I don't think he was at Scarborough.... I think someone has done the same with their scoot... minus the genuine OCS signatures.... I know he's already had some mega upgrade done too... we ride Coast to Coast next week... looking forward to see how it performs
@@tattooist11 the upgrade video, which he's no doubt mid production on should be interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing it in the flesh on Friday... doing High Peak to St Bees, then over to Robbin Hoods Bay and back, over 4 days. Think Skeggy was a clash with a Mid Cheshire meet near Frodsham.
Yeah the one at Scarborough wasn't me, I'm hoping I've inspired someone lol. Looks similar but if it's the one I'm thinking of its got ocs on one side and stone roses on the other?
