Its really nice for the age, it'll look 100 times better under there when I get the Krown oil spray done like I did on the truck, it doesn't necessarily need it since it will be parked in winter but I still plan on doing it.
Hi ,I'm Greg from PghPa.We have businesses that will spray your entire under carriage with a classic product called Fluid Film . It's lanolin based and doesn't wash off . It's awesome 👍

That liquid chloride road salt crap sticks around for a while. I like to coat the under side of my truck with FluidFilm once a year here in CT, works well!

Sadly, the van will be parked for winter, its way too nice underneath to drive on all the salt they put on the roads here. I'd really love to do it, but it'll kill that thing quick even with an undercoating
It's so nice underneath because it spent most of its life in Tennessee. I love snow and ice fishing but the salty roads are terrible, my truck has fender flares and plastic rocker panels covering fist sized rust holes

Looks like the "temporary " bed is holding up pretty good. I've always looked up the color code for the rear harness and taped into them directly. If you must, turn a blinker on and use a test light to find the blinking one. It takes longer but works.

Get a hitch extension so the jack is out of the way to your fancy spare tire. Otherwise you have to deal with riding the tire or jack cylinder. A jack extension is your best bet.
Crazy One thing i like about you and your channel. You take us along for everything you do. I especially enjoy coming along for campfires. I just enjoy seeing you sit around a campfire. You really dont even need to talk much. Some people get a little arrogant after they get their channels going and doing decent. They get a little stingy with their time. But i can see that too. Its just that you seem to not mind. i think its because your not temperamental. lol
I have been driving Vans for years and I have done a lot of towing with the same van you have and I promise you it will tow just fine I really enjoy watching your shows please keep the good content coming
little tip for next time, find an old carpet, or buy a cheap carpet, roll it out under your work space, so while you are dragging the painted parts you are installing, you'll reduce scratching the surfaces. My ears hurt every time you dragged that tow bar around haha! :P
They say 45 minutes and they are right! You gota have a lift and install 5 or 6 of them a day? With 2 people and Charging $500. Good job on the ground Man!
Yeah, I saw the clip, I might see if it can be replaced without the spring being removed. Ideally I'll replace the ~28 year old springs, but that's maybe next year
A extra set of hands would have been handy installing the hitch, but you did a good job. And that was a good idea on the wires. Simple solutions are the best.
Hey Quady I believe if you turn in your emergency flashers on it will do both sides at one time for your turn signals n brake lights then turn ur head lights on for the running lights all without the ignition being on.
Hey! Great video. You can trim the blades on that usb/fan you got , back a while ago and put it in a trimmed 5 gal bucket. Lay it on it side. I did it and works great.
Is there nothing you cannot tackle on your own. i do like to see these do it yourself adventures. Glad the truck will be ready for camping in the snow and ice!

Diggin the van, as always. There has to be some place to pass that harness through instead of running it through the rear doors. You're just asking to pinch the wires by accident if it gets out of place or you forget its there. Id even consider drilling a hole in the floor and putting a grommet or something for the harness to pass through and then you can mount the 4pin near the hitch.
Curt makes pretty decent stuff. I have one of their dual hitch receivers. In Ohio, you don’t need trailer lights as long as you can see the vehicle lights. They just passed that law a year or two ago
