I've been a hobbiest blacksmith for about 7 years. I also started on a Harbor Freight anvil. You can definitely get some SERIOUS work done on it and I'm proud of the projects I forged with mine, but getting a nicer anvil feels great. You made a very good call by not slacking off with the size of the stump you mounted it to. Stay safe.
Beautiful wood stock and unique. Big anvils are good for heavy work. Interesting review on that DeWalt Chainsaw (and wow, not strong components inside is just crazy on their part). Thank you for reviewing. Love the dogs.
Vevor makes a great anvil. Just not a fan of the pritchett hole being on the horn. I don't really understand why they didn't locate it in the back of the heel by the Hardy hole like most anvils.
I’m not sure why they designed it specifically like they did either but I’ll get a good use out of this till some day down the road I get a 200 year old 1000 pump Italian job and then I will be picky about it! 👊🏼💪🤣
the danger is almost completely operator error, so no... the machine is not dangerous, the user is either a danger to themselves or not. Gas or electric has little to no bearing on operator error.
@@BoneTactical lots of people don’t know this info. Most people dont try to cut their legs. Kick back on chainsaws happens to the best of us. This is why electric saws can be dangerous they dont stall. I thought you might have said ty for the info. But nope.
Get a husqvarna rancher chainsaw 24 inch bar , i cut lots of firewood every year, i had my knees rebuilt a week ago and am getting better ,keep up the good work
