Our brand new Alliance Avenue 29RL came with 320 watts of solar and we were able to keep our 600ah of lithium batteries but we needed to install an inverter to run our RV off grid. Myron Lehman from Landstar RV Services installs a Victron system complete with the Multiplus II 3000 inverter as well as a 50amp charge controller and Lynx distribution bar.

Nice setup real similar to what I have been installing. The cerbo gx display is great to add. As far as solar panels. My recommendation is adding 2 320 watt renogy panels which is what I think you have on top. This would give you 1280 watts solar on top and not need to worry about match panel voltages. We have the 250/100 mppt. And 4 panels on our 2022 36v11 Valor. Planning on adding another mppt and wiring such that I can use portable solar cells as needed. Currently planning on 2 400 watt panel to give me a total of 2000 watts solar. Currently only 400 amps lithium batteries. Like how he wired your Linux distributor. Our multiples is mounted horizontal cause of not enough height. You’re lucky in that respect. Your install look’s good.

looks good but don't see any fusing either at each battery or in the main to the lynx. even batteries can short out and the battery next to it will keep feeding it and melt down

So far they have worked great. No issues after 9 months so far.

Nice! How long could you run a single AC with the setup? Approximate cost ? And everything is automatic as far as switching from a park hookup to the batteries/inverter? Stay safe! Bill

We haven’t ran a time test yet but I’m planning to do that this summer. My estimated guess is around 5 hours. I paid $1800 for the LiTime batteries last fall. We have about $2400 in the work Myron did for us but he gives us a discount on parts and labor.

@@TravelswithDelaney I'm probably going to be going with the same thing as far as battery bank. I've got 3 100ah Battle born that I'll sell and update those. Thanks for the reply!

How are you going to add solar panels? I talked with another dealer about my 29RL and he said that I would need to remove my current panels and then add 3 200 watt Rich Solar panels.
@TravelswithDelaney
@TravelswithDelaney 21 день назад
That’s interesting. I wonder why? Myron is just going to add another panel to the existing one. Probably a 200 watt which will bring us up to 520 total

@@TravelswithDelaney Probably trying to sell me one of theirs. Let me know what kind you get and I'll probably get the same.

The only concern is matching panel voltages/watts. No need to rebuy/ replace panels to make someone else money.. just get the largest mppt you can the first time so you can add panels as you can.

@@TravelswithDelaney If you add another 200 watt panel to that 320 you are going to end up with the power output of two 200 watt panels. You have two choices at that point. Either find something with about the same VOC (voltage open circuit) or pull off the 320 and add three 200 watt panels. I added a second 320 to my avenue. Got it at the rally for a great price.
