Did my winch the same way for weather protection and ability to use just on the truck. Added quick connects front and back of my truck. I have ranch hand with front receiver.
Need to have keyhole slots on 2.0 like a rollback you can use J hooks and automotive transport hooks for tie downs also get you a bridal hook set for the winch. Before it's over you are going to love that type of trailer
Hmm, maybe the hot setup would be a roll back trailer? About 6 foot, to give you a better deck angle winching on? A really good friend of mine had a truck like Cleetus. He owned a payday-payment used car lot in Florida, and did repos for banks part time. That's a good job, pays well, It's the getting shot at part I didn't like, at all!! I had never seen a single beam, under the front, open under the back, rig like that! With a little practice, 2-3 minutes tops and your out of there. Not my bag at all! 8) --gary
