Hi Tom, Awesome air pumps iv got the same running, just a little tip, you may want to support the rubber pipe as it goes into the pvc pipe, they run a little warm after a while and where your clear pipe has a slight bend in it you may find it folds over a bit with the warmer air restring the air flow a bit, , looking Awesome so far guys, Richard 🇬🇧
Hi Sir, Looking great.👍 For maximum air flow you should have made a pvc loop instead of the dead ends as it will have air drop zones instead of constant pressure. Also it's best to get the threaded air valves as these last longer and won't leak air or have any issues as i did with the blue plastic ones.... Additionally if you can try getting 2 replacement nozzle connectors(one you cut) for the piston pumps as with time the heat will cause issues where it's connected to plastic tubing and could also sag restricting air. Plus it needs some support as it bendsand warps over time. Can't wait to see 90 gallon tank fully setup. Maybe you can do a planted scaped tank...
There's many reasons actually, when building a large fish room you want to take all necessary precautions, especially if you can't keep an eye on all the tanks 24/7. For example the air tube could disconnect from the PVC one day leading the air tube to drop and aim towards the floor, causing a tank to back siphon and empty tself. Best to be safe than sorry 👍
