Wow So Fast. All of this hard work and so enjoyable to watch Do not want to miss a single video. Great Education on how it can be done. Thanks again for you showing how to do it.
Good morning Brent. I like that someone installed a 3 prong receptacle on the firewall. Safety first with a ground. 🤣. You are moving right along in a short time. Thanks for sharing.👍👍
Brent, you are a genius at building rods! You could make a killing if you had about 3 guys working under you building custom rods for the public. Welderup Garage don’t have nothing on you! I’ve never in my life seen anyone that could do it all like you! I hope you leave the patina look on the outside and maybe just put a coat of clear on it. Again, I can’t wait to see the finished rod!
I love the way this truck is coming together. Please I would love to see more builds like this. I can't thank you enough great vids everyone even the bobcat one.
The skills to pay the bills! Dam your good , that motor looked massive going in the truck lol Amazing work again:) loving the shows looking forward for the next one , wicked
Love your vids! I am looking forward to the project where you pull out the stops and go full-ass! I don’t know what that will be, but I am sure it will be glorious! 👍👍
Love the cross member very functional and removable. Not to self while test fitting a motor never shut off the plasma cutter I never do cause you just never know .
Brent, when I first subscribed to your channel, I could see that it would be different than what I was used to. I watch a LOT of automotive build videos, and many of them are gifted mechanics and fabricators. But, I am starting to come around to your way of thinking. Especially near the end of this one, when I heard you say; "I got a game plan." I nearly fell off my chair when I heard that - I thought this was a trial-and-error project. But then I heard you say; "Make things fit", and "Do all my jazz that I need", followed by "It looks hopeful". (So, now I know what 'game plan' means.) Of course you ended with "Call 'er done for now". I cannot wait for the ensuing posts and the final video on this truck... OSHA be damned!
Ya know every time I watch one of your videos, it amazes me no matter what you come up against, you act like EH its no big thing,, with what ever you do and the freekin thing works. Guys like you have my respect, I would love to see what you could do when your not working with ahhh junk!
Enjoyed the video. Looks like you made quick work on this conversion. I think i's a great way to have a classic look with modern guts, but not spend 100 grand on a custom build. (Just some feed back; I liked the old music better.) 😊👍
Enjoyed the Video! Hoping to learn a few things. I’m swapping a 53 BelAir HT Drivetrain for a 350 w/ a 400 Trans. Planning an S-10 Rear End. To me that’s a monumental task, so I’m needing to learn the pitfalls up front if I can. Feel a little better about the Rear End swap, thanks.
Mines a Hypertherm, but I have had the unit from harbor freight also and didn't notice the difference in cut really, I think they work the cheap ones but from what i've seen you'll go through consumables a lot but they are cheap either way.
@@HalfassKustoms good to know. Figure if anybody know you would. Lol. You use them alot. I'm still cutting shit with a grinder. Hahaha. Time to step up.
Hey Brent , Just Greg again . I'm sure you could do this in your sleep . Still fun to watch . Maybe one day LS in '85 Cutlas but for now 3.8 is still chuggin' along . Have you heard about a swap meet in Steinbach ,don't want to get too excited but a guy at work asked if I had heard about it . He said he would check more into it and let me know if and or whatever ?
Will you not have to move the back axle back a bit cause it doesn't sit right in the wheel arch had to do that on my 51 chevy truck think is 3inch centre to centre great vid as normal tho 👍👍👍
There’s an app I saw somebody use on their iPhone to where you actually use your iPhone to figure out the pinion angle by holding your iPhone on top of pinion yoke and on the top of the transmission tail. it figures it out and tells you the proper angle🛠🇺🇸
S10 4x4 diff is 2" wider per side than the 2wd, and the ZR2 diff is 2" per side wider again (4" per side wider than 2wd) (I mentioned this in the previous video, but this is for the benefit of anyone watching this one, which might come up in a search)
I am seeing everything LS and can see why as it is a heck of a engine. I am curious as to weather you can take like four or more out of the stock wiring harness and fire them up... something to do with the throttle body or at least that orifice that makes it go varoom as my brain ain't woke up yet. Gotta shit shower and eat something. Look and feel a ton better.
