Hello Karl, first of all build yourself a VMWare server. Get ESXi 7 installed. download the OVAs from the avaya support site and start installing them. Do SMGR first, then SM and CM. If you have a media gateway then get it connected otherwise you'll need a media server and that does actually require a licence to work.
Is Simplex and Duplex the terms Avaya uses? Being an old radio engineer, we used the term to mean one directional traffic to define simplex and bidirectional traffic to mean duplex.

Connection to host over network failed. ensure that the host name and connection port are correct, and that the host is operational and connected to the network) i m connecting to host with ip and port 5022. how i troubleshoot it? thanks in advance
Hey, so have you connected using SSH port 22 and run the command autosat when logged in with dadmin? you have to enable dadmin first, but run that command and set the pin for dadmin, then do a save trans and then reset system 4 and you should be able to get in.
