My WJ has had issues starting for the past couple months. Last week it stopped starting completely. No crank no start. Got a new battery, new terminals, new starter. None helped. I finally cut into the cables and both +/- were green with rot. My new Jeep cables just got delivered today, following along with your video, hoping this fixes it lol. 🤞🤞
I just did this today, exactly as shown in the video. Screw tap, zip tie to the battery box and, all. These cables definitely make stock look like trash. Thanks for sharing. Also where did you purchase or order the loom that fits these cables and the green wire? I Zip tied neatly but, I want to be clean.
RU-vid is the only type of "social network" that I have. Less hassle and no bleed through from irrelevant/pathetic creators. I follow very few channels, and the few I do follow, are people who don't beg and ask for a "like, share, subscribe". If your content is good and you're confident in the message you're sharing, People will subscribe because of the straightforward approach. Keep it up najar doing great man.
Thanks brotha! I do ask usually at the end of the video to like and share😂 but it’s at the end not many stay watching all the way! I appreciate the support though 👌
@@NajarOffroad I have no doubt! I have a winch and a sound system that draws a lot of power. I plan on adding 120v inverter and a second battery so I'm going to use the old cable to run the second battery. Jeeps never run out of upgrades I swear! 😆

its gud to see we have wj ppl around.. all i am expecting another video from u is that how to solve the fan relay issue coz it blows off every time and they are expensive aswell
Great video! When I had done mine I flipped the cable ends that go to pdc box so I didnt have to cut the cover. Upgrade the alt & go with an agm battery like odyssey if you decide to run a winch & sound sytem
Don’t know why they would say that. It’s one of the best, if not the best most durable engine ever made. Keep fresh oil in her and she will forever live.
Did this upgrade this weekend, ended up needing to replace my starter motor. The nut was welded to the post from corrosion. Sheared off that soft copper like nothing. All good now though
Yo dude... i like the way you ran the ground cable under the pcm and the placement of the fuse as well. I am gonna have to go fix mine now... lol Keep up the good work! I am looking forward to the next video and hopefully getting a chance to wheel with you some day. Much Love Homie
Looks so easy on the 4.0. Hope the 4.7 is similar. This is a great upgrade, chryslers always need to have a good electrical connection. They come with enough problems as it is 20+ years later. xD Cheers
My WJ is my first Jeep. It's so basic, it's perfect. I have the cable kit, and thanks to Najir it will be a snap to install. I'm hoping it cures my intermittent stall problem. Continuity tests on existing cables were not great on the grounds especially. Wish me luck. Be gone electrical demons!! 👹
what are the benefits of this install? My positive battery terminal broke and Im gonna have to replace electrical stuff anyway.. should I do this while im in there?
I would recommend this kit. Sometimes inside the stock cables the copper could be wearing out causing poor connection. Also the Big 7 kit the cables are way thicker and can take more load for accessories
My wj won't start i got a new starter and the dash doesn't light up with the key on, before I had to put the car in neutral for it to start sometimes what do u think it is
Was the neg batt to engine block ground at the ground heat wrapped with the other ground wires? I've got an 02 4.7 and I can't just switch out the Neg Batt to engine block cable because it's not separated at the ground point with the other wires.
