Great video. I installed the Rugged Ridge 11401.30 which also includes vertical billets. More protection for the radiator and still allows tons of air flow.
whoa that was intense.. you totally would've been lost without the instructions manual. if i ever do grill inserts ill be sure to take it to my certified professional mopar technician to make sure its done right.
I tried to follow your install process but somehow managed to start my Jeep on fire. Dammit. But yeah, you really need to share the bug/chip guard info, that's a nice flush fit and doesn't look dorky like most of them do.
lol cool video ! i got the same ones and thought they had mesh of some sort in them , was kinda disappointed when i opened them , installed them anyway . they look pretty good
That was great. I am however disappointed that you didn't properly prep the surface before install or use the required professional tools and equipment to complete this install ;)
I ordered these recently and had them painted (read plenty of reviews online of people doing this without issue), tried to put them in today and not a single one will click in :( Any advice? Tips? I sent a note to the place I purchased them asking for advice as well. I made sure the little clips were not painted and affected by it, it's just the front side that has the paint. I'm super bummed if I can't get them to work out!!
There is plenty enough air getting to the radiator. The 7 slot grille is for show, and is not functional. There would be enough air with only half the air holes.
