Legit spent like almost a month trying to do this shit and he made it so easy I got the hang of things in like 5 mins. Everyone else kinda rambles. They’ll be explaining one thing, and then start referring to steps in other videos like we’re supposed to know. Then there’s the backtracking commentary in the middle of steps that confuse the fuck out of me. They fuck up and instead of editing shit out they start clicking on x y & z while rambling.
I did everything but nothing seems to happen. I checked the video back again and went over every single step and everything was done correctly and nothing missed. The character is still not showing in the game. Any tips?
At around 4:10 I get stuck when adding the JSFB Files I get a popup with missing stuff li8ke CharProfilePro Unknown and when I click accept nothing happens. wierdly one of the files work (The roster table) What to do? There is problems with deserializing the face texture file and the charmapping doesn't give errors it just doesn't open sometimes when clicking accept in gives the error while attempting to deserialize. Also asked in discord still no solution given. EDIT (Not a real update): So I current am trying to use meta by importing the jsfb files but it's not importing some of those files. It is importing the [CharProfileTable.roster] fine but then the [FaceTexture] it won't import I get a pop up with a table that shows Name Tag Description FaceTextures Play Wrestler render paths PlayerDefaultRoster Play Unknown Cancel Accept So I press accept but nothing happens I was also trying to Import the [CharacterMapping] file But I get the same table with CharProfilePro and CharMoveSetDataTable Being "Unknown" It used to also say that it was unable to deserialize but after re exporting that doesn't happen anymore What I have tried: Restart PC Reinstall meta/cakeview/caketools Re Export the files Re make the bakein folder Re verfy the game folder Reinstall the game Everytime I did a step I tried to re export (cakeview) and re import (Meta) everytime.
@@RCZY_OFFICIAL So what's weird is I was able to use the face texture but not the profile table, I reset and now can't use any of it. I'll update if I get it to work.
New problem My character is not appearing in game. Like it seems to have imported fine like when baking i see the characters name appear but I can''t see them in game
Hi I’ve been trying to do this and following through your method and others but when I prime my memory and import the character profile my game will show the character as the placeholder render and have a blank name so then I try to play as the character and it crashes I seen people with this crash but they don’t say how they fixed it just wondering if you know how to fix it
Hi, can anyone give me a hand, i have followed all the instructiong, but am not getting anywhere. I tried to import edge in to slot 460, did everything by the letter, what im not sure of and why i might be causing issues, after we export the JSON, does it need to be saved back to a JSFB so it can be caked in to the game? or is there something im missing. I have the yhe JSON files inthe data folder, follwoing the new folder guide, but don't they need to be saved back to JSFB , if so how do i do this?
when you first export the jsfb to json, it should've asked you if you would allow meta to watch the file. Thats when you should've said yes so that the changes to the json would save to the jsfb. After you save the json you should see a pop up on the right corner that says "file has serialized". Thats how you know it saved correctly
@@wrestlincrusade yeah, so I did click yes, but don't get a serialised message? Do the files need to be in the same folder? At least I understand that's how the files are connected so can't try to figure it out.
Hey can you do a video on resetting profiles? Let’s say you were using cakeview, but now you’re switching to meta, I don’t need those replaced slots anymore so I don’t mind having the original characters back.
@@kaankavak5697 well do that, the video explains you have to copy an entrance otherwise it will crash, meta slots dont come with entrance animations so thats why it crashes
For some reason initially the character doesnt show up in roster but after enabling prime memory and then importing the orignal character with moveset json file in the wrestler slot the character show up in the roster. After making saves and then restarting the game character will not be there in the roster please help if possible
@morecrusader Yes i did. I told you after hitting prime memory and loading the original charcter profile wrestler it shows up in my roster but if i restart it goes away.
@CaseCrusader whenever i saved the json file "serialized jsfb file" pop up comes up everytime so thats not a problem and i did not bake the json file but jsfb files i have put in their respective folder and did bake them but did not the bake json file

@@ojb2008 after you import a profile you have to change something to trigger a gamesave (ex: change an attribute, change crowd cheering, etc) and then save all settings that way the profile will stay
@15:24 you baked "brockypoo"? Which folder is that? Your roster folder? Was that a .cak? I don't think i have that and i even followed the previously how to mod video. mustve bypassed me. I have GFX.cak and Wrestlers.cak
The naming of the baking folders doesnt matter thats just the name of one of my folders cause i made it specifically to unlock brock. You dont need to follow that exact you can have the same contents inside your wrestlers cak
@@wrestlincrusade oh that might be it, when I save CharProfileTableroster.json, I dont see it serializing to jsfb. Mightve missed that step. Any recommendations?
could be the mod itself, could be that the entrance is glitched, could be the moveset is glitched, can't really know since i don't know what you did wrong however hop into the discord help channel and i can try to help you better.
Hey so after I've installed a mod and close out Meta i open the JSFBs again and meta is no longer watching them. Do i have to export them every time i mod?
Figured it out. Quick question so I used wrestler ID 115 slot 111 and for some reason it’s the only slot giving me an issue with not being able to save the profile to my wrestler. Any suggestions?
if its not serializing make sure that, you have the jsfb open in meta while you are editing it in visual studio code, make sure that you haven't changed the location of the json or jsfb since exporting it, you can also re-export json and see if that can help fix the serializing issue
@@J9R5 no that wouldn't cause the not serializing issue, it will serialize if the files are open and there are no errors in your jsfb, other than the jsfb being in the proper folder(which is shown in the video) location of the json doesn't matter.

Maybe I'm not misunderstanding what I originally saw.
The renders I tried to add do not work. What should be the correct folder for this? I've tried many things but even though everything is working I'm having trouble with the renders and what's the most important thing to actually make it work?
Thank you it worked great! One question tho, after the entrance finish there's no transition to the wrestler waiting in the ring for his opponent, how do i fix that?
@@wrestlincrusade I have full entrance and moveset set, what i meant to say is the modded character has no in ring waiting animation, once the entrance finishes. the camera stays locked in an angle until the opponent comes.
