4 years later and here I am watching your video - considering the Diamond back HD or Switchback currently for F150. Looks great on your truck.

Owner for 4 years now works great. Best thing I ever bought for my truck. Headach rack and ATV extentions for my Diesel Arcticat. Get the designed ramps also no kickback and no need for straps. I bought the shinny cover love showing it off. Instructions are just as he said, simple and easy. I'm 68 years old and did it myself. Stay dry when I sleep in the Bed on quick trips. Heck its always dry inside. Love the center piece gutters they really work.

Amazing how this cover even makes a ford truck look good.

Great video! After initially installing mine, I've had to take it off and reinstall it twice more. I find it easier to assemble all three parts on the top of the truck before I even put the clamps on the center piece. Doing it solo, for me it's easier to lay the cab piece on first closer to the middle and then the center piece. This gives me more room to stand in the bed and finagle the cab piece on to the center piece. I then move the center piece more to the center before installing the tailgate piece. I use the factory bed caps as a guide on centering everything and just manhandle it from the tailgate end by nudging it here and there to get it perfectly centered. Once centered, I clamp the center piece. It helps to push down on the end pieces when tightening them down, but if doing it solo, I just place something heavy on the end pieces - dumbbells, spare coilovers/struts, dead car batteries, whatever. All in all, I really like this cover. I have no leaks and my contents are very secure.

That's one slick cover I like the fact that it has a high load rate fore storage on top.

Looks much more useful than the typical tonneau covers. I like the access panel near the tool bin end especially and rugged enough to support weight.

Is it me or is the center piece a little off in color compare to the other two pieces?

I love my my HD cover. I just recently added the tool box. I also like that I am the only person around here that has one. I wish that the back had a safety latch as it would help if I had to haul a over length objects like a ladder. Great video.

Jason, That was the perfect video guide for the installation of the Diamondback HD bed cover. It is a video that I couldn't find on the actual Diamondback website. I wonder how your cover is holding up now that you've had it for nearly 4 years. I'm sure its great. I just received mine for my 2022 Tacoma and am excited to install it. John

Pricey but seems better than the $300-500 trifold covers out there. I like the fact that it can carry 1600lbs.! When my cover gets old I plan on getting thus one. That will give me time to save for.

Diamond back is only for putting your atv or UTV on the top of it.

How do you install/setup roof top tent with the racks and the bed cover?

Your forgot to install the "bulkhead" seal in the front of the bed which has NO plastic on it. Your cover will LEAK without that seal.
