I’ve got the original factory seat from my 2014 Streetglide if your interested, only a couple hundred miles on it, replaced it right after I picked up my bike
I was thinking about getting these for my streetglide was wandering about how tall are you and are you able to reach pretty well and reach when turning I’ve got a set of 39” wide on mine now and they are definitely too wide for me im having to lean way forward to reach turning I’m 5’10 just 12:12 trying to get an idea if they’d work for me
I'm 5'11" for the most part they are good. If I'm turning full lock it's a little reach. I would recommend to go to your local dealer and sit on a few used bikes with different bars and see what fits u best
Like it bro! Looks good! BTW, I took my factory seat off when I got home, I don’t like it, I will sell it, 2023 Road Glide Seat 2 up of course. Make me an offer.
There is a lube we used to pull electric wires through conduit that may work to aid pulling the cable. It doesn’t degrade the insulation (or in this case, the heat shrink). Just a thought.
Ccriders sell nice seats for a decent price. Don’t know if you heard of them? I used mechanic hand cleaner as lube. Don’t know if that was a good idea but we’ll see I guess. So you just rerouted the clutch cable on yours and it fit? Because I just ended up buying the extension for $135? And also, what’s the measurement from end to end of the grips? Mine is 39” and it’s factory 47.
I’ve got 12” and 14” 1/2” meat hooks in boxes. Trying to decide which I want to go with. See a lot of people saying if you go 12s you’ll eventually want 14’s. How are you liking the 12”?
I'm loving the 12" for my height I don't think I would like 14's. I'm 5'11" my shoulders are messed up so I think if I went any higher it would cause to much pain.
Gotcha. I’m 5’11-6’0. I’m leaning toward the 12’s. Sorry about your shoulder. Loving your videos. I’ve got the same bike, 2020, 131, black on black on black. Lol. I think it needs more black. Lol. Ride safe brother.
Ooooo, I hadn’t thought about the lifter tubes! Might have to look into a swap sometime down the road. This winter’s projects include native bagger 18” fatty, bars, more lights on top of all the CD that’s already on it. Your video on Advanblack tour pack light convinced me to order one last night! Last thing, how do you like the Kahuna grips vs stock grips? Heat up just as well as the stock? Comfortable when gripping? Thanks again!
@@rphd07 I really like the grips. They look great and work just as good as stock. I really like advanblack tour pak light. I hope u told them I sent u lol. JK but it does help.
@lkmctaggart3584 it's really not hard. If u want to make it easy as possible get the full plug and play bars. Those come with all the wires already installed. The ones I went with had all the wires except the throttle wires. The throttle wire is a bit of a pain to run in the bars but it can be done. If u have any questions reach out to me and I'll try to help..
