We have almost identical C300’s my windshield tint is even as low as yours. These vids are great because you’ve been doing all the mods I plan to do to mine, the door lights were first and now it’s time for these.

You should keep the blue ones. Because if you are planning to get the ILS headlights, they‘ll light up blue too when unlocking the car and it would look awesome having both lights lighting up in the same color

Hey Flex , Finally got the right Dynamic light in from DmP. I added it on the carbon fiber covers. So carbon fiber mirrors plus your smoke dynamic blue. It was a pain ., but I finally got it. One of the pins was not going in so I had to rough it up a little bit but finally got it. I connected the blue wire by just sticking it in there.. it will probably come lose but for now it’s working. Scared to mess anything up. Right side was easy to put on left side was a trouble maker..but any way thanks for your confidence... next is the carbon spoiler.. and your a bad influence.. now my wife wants the same thing on her bmw.. lol 😂 thanks again mahalo!

Get ready to replace those leds behind your door handles. I had to replace mine after it turned into that bluish color and not white anymore. The puddle lights turn on regardless if it’s dark or light out. Great videos though bro! Keep up the good work! Glad to see another Hawaii brother in MA.

Funny you say that because 1 went out last week and I did research and the quality from factory sucks. Lucky I have a warranty for like 3 years so I don’t have to fix it myself.

Flexx Alexander if it’s factory warranty. They’ll replace it. But if you just have cpo warranty. It’s considered wear and tear. And they won’t cover it. I had the same problem on my S 63.

Hey Flexx, I ordered the blue , not sure if I ordered from the same people but had to wait a month because the virus . Got it in and it seem to have a scratch from inside on both. They stated it was the mold on how it was made. But I put it on only to find out the harness did not plug into theirs. Trying to return them to Twinjoy . But there being difficult. But anyway just to let you know the process to take the side mirror cover off was so easy just like you stated. Learning something new every day.. thanks! So no dynamic yet😂 Maybe carbo fiber next

I did the same mod on my V-class. Just a FYI on the V-class you have to remove the mirror to get to the tabs that hold the housing in place.

Purchased the blue dynamic signals from the site everything is great quality only thing (head up tho on the blue color option It’s way darker of a blue then what flex shown ) I was hoping for the icy white like his instead of the white version ... but overall great but idk I don’t think I’m feeling them might just go with the white ones instead it way to dark of a blue

Speaking of blue lights, do you happen to know if there's a way to code the start up sequence blue park lights on the front lamps to stay blue? I haven't asked my dealer yet, but I've tried finding it online with no luck yet. These do look quite nice though, I'd be tempted to get the blue ones and combine them with permanent blue headlights if possible.

Yo Flexx, I have looked at many vids of these DTS. Does the blue/white start up light stay on after it does that "start up" flashing sequence? Meaning do they stay on when you are not using your turn signals like a DRL? Or does the blue light turn off after a few seconds when you get in and drive off? I would want to the blue lights to come on when locking/unlocking but not stay on when driving. Would get pulled over in a heartbeat. I could wire it to a light that turns off after start up like an interior light if they do stay on constantly, if no puddle light is available. Please advise!! Thanks. Great vids.

The start up light is essentially what the name is, a start up light. It doesn’t stay on or turn on with the turn signal lights…only if you wire them to the same power source. And if you dont have a dedicated power source for the start up light (like a puddle light)…then the interior lights won’t work as a source. I already tried it. Hi guys, be aware this product has been changed since Flexx's video on 15 dec 2019 . In night mode the unlock lighting sequence is : amber/ dynamic blue-ish / blue / amber / blue - instead off : amber / dynamic blue-ish purple -> white

I know I know. But I don’t like to share where to buy stuff until I fully review and install and make sure they work well. Because if they don’t work well or don’t fit and I already shared info, I’ll feel pretty bad that people bought junk product because of me. So yeah...I wanna be the test rabbit before I share.

Hey Flexx, any idea if DMP Car Design has this dynamic turn marker for the SLK (R172) mirrors? It's very similar to the C300 mirrors, but it appears that there is just a slight difference such that the one you installed will not fit. Thoughts?

I do like it but are they flashing at normal speed? I have installed bulbs alone that create that situation and had to install a relay to make it blink normally.

Hi Flexx. Thanks for your video and advice for the DMP Car Design product - Super company . I purchase it for my W205-350e from 02/2017. Good news that the kit includes a tore screw driver and the orange dismounting tool . Additionally I receive my order to France in 10 days by DHL - But I need your help as the lighting sequence is different to the description although I did respect the connection of the blue wires together as recommended in your Tutorial . -> In night mode the unlock lighting sequence is : amber/ dynamic blue/ blue/ amber / blue - But it is describe : dynamic blue / blue / white What did I do wrong ? thanks for your advice

Do they work at all without splicing? Like is there a harness for basic functions and splicing is just for the startup?

Yes. That’s correct. Mine is running purely off the harness right now so only the dynamic turn signals work. No start up light. The start up light was getting a little too much attention.

only at night if you are tapping into the puddle light. Because the puddle lights are designed to only come on when the car detect its dark outside.

Not the start up light. Signals only come on when you use your turn signal.
