Your house electric plugs are way more dangerous than a farm electric fence as house wiring can kill due to higher amps. Typical American amps on wall plugs is 15 to 20 amps which can kill you. The fence we put up is to protect our food we spent time in planting and tending, the wild animals have many other things around us to eat, just not our food.
