The problem with emarald struts is it is very hard to close the boot and had to again replace it with OEM struts which are softer to close.

Omg brilliant idea,why couldnt ford do that with the current fiesta? would the struts work on the mk8 fiesta,an example of which I own?

Hello. I have a question, did the struts cause any damage to the car body after a long time of use? I put them on yesterday in my Fiesta and I was a little surprised how much force you need to use to close the trunk lid.

Would these work on a 1.0 eco boost? And does it come with the fob?

They aren’t anything different to the stock ones in terms of functionality. They are just spring loaded with tension. Basically, when you press the button on a stock version, the boot opens a bit. With the struts they’re spring loaded which forces the boot to shoot open. You don’t need a new fob. They will work with an ecoboost fiesta yeah

I read some mixed experiences on the internet, not sure if they are from emerald though. I'm thinking about getting them for my ST aswell, how are your experiences a few months in?
