I remember the Dodge Little Red Truck featured in Car and Driver's Double Nickel Shootout. The Little Red Truck was one of the fastest vehicles there. I think it was 2nd to the Corvette
Just love how Dulsich is going on and on about how easy the tranny install is with friburger and friend grunting to install the trani to the enginge., XD Sooo RoAdKilL
The app was great could pick and choose what episode to watch or catch up on and they done away with that too so i just wait till half the episode is posted here
True, but Dulcitch should'a just said he was future-proofing the clutch, in case of later power upgrades. Let's face it, which is cheaper, buying a 1000hp capable clutch now, or buying a 500hp capable clutch now, and a 1000hp clutch a couple of years down the line (when prices have gone up even more).
No idea why I watch these videos. I don't know anything about mechanic work, I won't ever work on anything like this and in the UK we don't have vehicles like this really. Yet here I am enjoying every second. I must be broken.
You gain knowledge that you can apply to other hobbies. I use my car knowledge on the guitars I build all the time. The paint process and wiring is almost identical between both.
Sad there has not been a Roadkill Garage episode released in a very long time. However, there has been 2 or 3 Roadkill episodes since the last episode of Roadkill Garage.
Old hot rodders: oldschool carburetted small-block is the most reliable engine ever Also old hot rodders : every small-block i've put into it has ended up exploding
For those that have troubles with "high 5s", try to look at the other dude or dudettes elbow when 5ing. I know its not a zip tie moment, but I do my best.
Freiburger shouldn't those new PTFE rear main seals be put on dry? The other thing after you get all the zip ties going the right way is flush cutting the ends
Less and less ppl watch cable TV anymore. They used to have all the episodes on YT years ago, but removed them for some reason, probably to make ppl watch TV, which didn't happen, so MT is slowly re-adding the old episodes on here.
Good question. I was thinking the same. The way every channel is going to streaming these days there isn't much left on Motor trend channel anymore!. There is Graveyard cars, Bitchin Rides, Iron Resurrection. Those are like 5 to 7 episodes each. Sucks! 🙂
dave- i have a collection of 5 electric vehicles and they are very fun. truck, suv, boat, rock crawler and drone. r/c vehicles are as close as i will come to owning an EV. lol.
Don’t you love cutting sheet aluminum with a circular saw? The sound is so irritating. And it ended before the engine and transmission were installed. Very annoying.
Not only do u want the zip ties all the same way, u then need to cut them with flush cutters. Dave is a wise man. If u cable tie any other way, you a wrong.
I mean no disrespect, but that butchered pilot bearing doesn't sit well. How can that possibly be centered? You got the nice engine; you bought the nice clutch; then you put that mess at the center of it.
Not really. Those engines are old hat and he no doubt does beat on them a lot. Lots of burnouts, racing and running them hard does tend to induce some failures… not really a surprise they’ve all failed. Dulcich and Freiburger have built hundreds of engines and cars and know what they are doing. Every engine will eventually fail, more so given what the truck is used for.
