Those who did the springs both Detent and Selector, did you have other mods like EM2 cmc and K20 Clutch with LW flywheel? And was it as tricky to put the assembly back in as Rish made it to be lol.
@@ChristianLikesFootball nothing was really tricky, just keeping things together and making sure I remembered where to put things back. Was being a bit slow lol. But i do have a comp stage 3 clutch + Light flywheel and the em2 cmc kit
Love when we can do a little bit of an upgrade and still make some content. S/o to Lauro for sure. That’s a true supporter right there! 👏🏽 #rishspectfully ❤️🔥
I’ve been looking for walkthroughs on TSX. Just a tip, if you cut the chatter and focus more on the progression of ideas/theme/conversation of each video you may get more views.
@@RishMedia Seems like the only place to use a pry bar is under the round cylindrical piece, is that strong enough and not break? Also, before i re-attempt how is it holding up, is it worth all the hassles given that its only stiffen up side to side movement of the stick?
Some good content but just from a viewers perspective, when doing the install videos, it gets disorientating when the camera is moving back and forth from the install area back to Rish and back to the install
For the notchiness, has that been such before you put in both? My car atm is abit notchy going into 2nd and wondering if i should do these mods hearing it could make it worst.
Before it just feels more sloppy and like loose, the springs help stiffen up the shifting making it feel more direct. And helps eliminate some shifter slop/play. Its a real simple job try it out if ya dont like it swap back to oem!
@@RishMedia I've just done the CT short shifter and it's tight. Detent Springs and K-Tuned Spherical cable bushing next. Not sure on the Selector springs cos seems like you had trouble shifting in the video. What's the sealant you use and why is it needed?
Hey Rish, I got an 04 TSX and am getting a horrible vibration from the front right axle. Any recommendations on axle replacements other than oem? They’re a bit expensive LOL 🤣
Your best bet is trying to find a oem from the junkyard/ebay Auto/manuals axles are the same aswell. But next best is raxles. Also dont overlook your half shaft can be the problem too the bearing going bad
Im having an issue with my car and was wondering if anyone here could help. I know this is an older video, but i dont care. My car feels crappy going left to right in neutral, but goes in and out of gear perfectly. Will this fix that or do i need something else?
When your in nuetral and put it left or right snd let go does it snap back in place? If it doesnt sounds like it can be a clutch cable. Also maybe have to re adjust your clutch pedal
@@RishMedia yeah it goes back in place. Its useable just clunky at best. Really its into and out of gears and moving left to right. I also know my clutch pedal assembly is broke, so it may need to be readjusted and the system bled. Someone told me the detent and center springs, but ive also been told about the clutch. I'll have to probably dig deeper into this. I have a nissan sentra ser spec V thats fun to drive but i want it to be comparable to my 350z in smoothness.
