I bought these lights years ago and never installed them. I'm thinking about doing them now after I get the car inspection done. VA are anal on lights, especially the rear side on ours. Man, you make everything look easy to do!!!
I'd say, Install it after the inspection. They won't notice or say anything. It's a OEM part. But thank you lol I've doing this for a while just not on camera. As always, thank you for watching.
To the guys who aren't trying to drop 500 for taillights just rewire your lights to have dual tail lights on each side like the 02-04. Can't do it with the jdm
good to know! im really curious as to what the hell they used to glue those tail lights in lol i used some 3m upholstery adhesive to glue the gaskets to mine to make sure the seal would stay tight until the gaskets dry rot later down the road. but it would never hold it like those were held in there! they must have used some 2 part epoxy or something insane like that! @@DC5RParts
Whatever it was... It's was not necessary and lazy. I had to destroy a perfect tail light, One of the studs where overtightened too, couldn't get it out. Breaking it was the best thing.
@@DC5RParts no problem ,just keep it up bro you are giving good information and tips ,your videos is helping alot and with any one who started buying or owning a dc5. It was really painful too see that tail light been pulled apart , ouch!!!
