In this video I run through my installation of some cheap ebay LED lights into my Pandora Corolla KE70 body. Little driving clip at the end. cheers! #tamiya #pandorarc #tt02
Absolutely love what you've done! Is that a Pandora body shell? Did it come with the light buckets etc? Love to know how you painted the body, looks incredible! What wheels are those?
Hey thanks! Yeah it's a Pandora body. It came with the light buckets and bumpers, front splitter etc. I just purchased the side mirrors and exhausted separate. Mask the windows and lights. Paint the black trims from inside with a brush. Then lay a few coats of the base colour, then a few coats of black to sort of seal it. The chrome trims I painted from the outside with a chrome pen. The lights I hand painted with some small pots of Tamiya transparent paint. I really should have done a video for the painting as it was a lot of effort!
@@RikkiRuckus you did a fantastic job! Do you mind me asking what the paint colour is and the type of paint you used? Thanks for all the info, it's really helpful as I'm a newbie at this side of things.
Pretty cool brother do you have a link for the fender mirrors??? As you can tell from my profile picture I own a TE38 and I'm trying to get the KE70 wagon done up to look similar
Thanks man. Sorry I bought these at a hobby shop when I was in Japan. Not sure on the brand, I'll see if I've still got the packaging in my box of stuff.
@@gabrielpichardo1492 The wheelbase of the TT02 was perfect fit for this body. Only thing you might need to play with is wheel offsets. If I run the rubber tires they clip on the guards. But I run the smaller profile drift tires so have no issues. I could always cut out the guards a bit more if I really wanted to run rubber tires.
@@brendana4559 thank you. I want to build one but i didnt know what chassis to buy until now. Its going to be a gift for my brother. He has a real one, only that his is an 83 so i need to 3d print the front grille and headlights and corner lights to make a replica of his
